You can pre-order this on Amazon too.

Also, if you check GW Chapter 4 on Play.com and Game, they both have a pre-order page with a release date in Sept 2007!!!

Old news...

We've known about the Ultimate edition for a week or so now and the preorders for a couple of months

The main thing is that Game has changed its pre-order date. A week or so ago, it actually had an April '07 date, now it is also quoting Sept '07. Looks more likely that will be the actual release date now.

I can't find a reference to the special CE effect you mentioned above in the descriptions on this website, http://www.play.com/Games/PC/RCS/3-/...t/Product.html, OR this website, http://www.gameseek.co.uk/pd/PCu9usv...Edition-Boxset. Would you mind pointing me to it.

Thanks!

What's so Ultimate about it, if it won't include the 4th chapter?

You mean apart from all the extra gubbins and bits and pieces?

Nope, nothing ultimate about it... Sheesh

This reminds me of Window Vista Ulitmate Edition.

Well, sheesh to you too . You really don't get where I'm going at? The stuff in the box is really neat, like the hard cover book. But why call something ultimate, when 3 months later, a new addition to the game will be released. IMO you should release an Ultimate Edition, when they are DONE with GW1, and bundle all games in it. I'm sure all the people who are jumping with joy about this release, will be the first one complaining when ANet releases another 'ultimate-like' box that DOES include the 4th Chapter.

Other than that, it really does sound like a nice box

Even though others have linked to the page with the pic, I'm posting here so it's easier for us to bask in its glory.

The box actually says the "Legacy Edition". And I can't quite tell what the first word at the top is, it almost looks kinda like (ascension), then alliance abyss

I'm starting to get concerned that so many UK sites have it listed and no US sites do. Maybe it is intended as an EU only release. Gaile has mentioned a couple times how the different regions market the product as they see fit for their region(which is why the EU Factions CE got a cloth picture and gets the plastic serial key cards..). I think the US didn't even get the Prophecies special edition 'til a few months after EU did...

^and?
Pretty much every product in existence has that disclaimer.
And it's pretty much standard procedure to know that the content list isn't 100% correct this long before release.

It sounds and looks awesome, but I don't think I'll spend anymore money on GW than I already have.. Although if there is a code for the Divine Aura, then I'd reconsider, but I doubt it'll be included. And, I find it lame that Anet will include yet another mini.. Just give a Varesh and a Kunnie..

Hmmm... i really want all the extras but i'm unsure what to do with the games.

I already had a 2nd account gifted to me with Prophecies, Factions and NF.

So this means a 3rd account? :-/... guess it means extra storage... or perhaps a gift to a friend.

I'll definitely buy it when it comes out for the skill pins (hoping they're the OG 8) and all the little bonus features. For the account, I can give it to a friend so it's all good

Why would anyone buy this or the trial trilogy knowing its just gonna end when GW2 comes out?

They have stated that GW will still be supported when the GW2 comes out, not stopped. So you could still playing, just gonna be one hell of a reduced player base.

Curses... I bought NF CE...

EDIT: WhAt TeH hEcKz?!? Ninety freaking pounds??? No, I probably wouldn't have bought it, anyway...

EDIT numbah 2: Oh... All three campaigns? I see... I still wouldn't get it, as I already have Factions and Nightfall, so it would be £90 out the window.
